This article is a review of two albums recorded by Thrash/Metal band Apothesary , the bands members include: Jared Eandi, on vocals, Clayton Cagle on rhythm, lead, and bass guitar, then Greg O’Neil on drums. They have made one full length album as well as a demo of their next album titled “They All Carry Ghosts”. The bands song lyrics are themes like: war, politics, death and occultism. They have an old school thrash metal sound with low growling death metal screams and melodic guitar solos. The Album “A Harsh Reality” consists of thirteen songs with an all instrumental track and also another song which is longest song on the album being over six and a half minutes long. For being their first album and being around nearly four years now and recording an album that has longevity in their albums and songs really show what this band is capable of making in the future. As for the demo of their second Album “They All Carry Ghosts” which consists of five songs four of which are songs the band recorded. The fourth song is another long song being well over seven minutes much longer than the song on “A Harsh Reality” it also has an intro that begins with a soft piano medley then breaks into the first verse of the song. The fifth and final song of the album is a cover of the Swedish Death Metal band At the Gates song “Blinded by Fear”.
